 Vista SP2 Beta发布后，各大网站对其褒贬不一。测试表明SP2带来了性能上的提升，但并没有令人信服的明显改进。

Blorg网站的Jonathan Schaffler昨天发表文章称“SP2确实新增了一些新功能，但并没有根本上的改进。”他指出新增功能对绝大部分用户而言都是毫无用处的。

InfoWorld用OfficeBench对SP2进行了测试。OfficeBench是用来测试Windows运行能力的。该测试表明SP2在性能上比SP1高出3%左右。

PCMag称蓝光功能确实可用，但并不流畅。而Windows DVD Maker即使在升级后也无法支持该格式。另外，无线网络连接倒是确实好用多了。

VNUNet的测试表明SP2不存在程序兼容性问题，但有些驱动仍然无法运行。同时，该网站还抱怨称SP2依然没有解决Vista下当USB磁盘正在使用时，无法安全移除硬件的问题。

新西兰的PCWorld的结论认为普通用户根本就不会注意到Vista和Vista SP2有什么不同。

Online reaction to the beta edition of Vista’s Service Pack 2 has been mixed at best. Testing suggest it does offer some performance improvements, but visible changes to everyday use appear underwhelming.

Blorge’s own Jonathan Schaffler wrote his thoughts yesterday, reporting “It does add a few features but won’t exactly knock your socks off.” He pointed out that most of the totally new features will be of little use to the majority of users. That’s a conclusion I share: many of the additions are more about being extremely useful to a very niche market.

InfoWorld put Service Pack 2 under its OfficeBench testing, which runs a series of common tasks from the Office Suite. It’s designed to measure how well an edition of Windows runs under practical use. The tests showed Service Pack 2 performed around 3% better than Service Pack 1 (which didn’t show any increase on the original Vista release).
