 Windows Vista，自从进入SP1之后，在兼容性上可以说是比当年的XP还要稳定。但Vista SP2发布后，用户却发现，Vista SP1和SP2在稳定性上倒是跟XP有些相似，因为仅仅是重复热插拔USB设备就有可能让SP1或SP2崩溃，不过，这里的热插拔指的是在未进行安全移除的情况下插拔设备。

目前，据微软称，WIndows Vista和Windows Server 2008 SP2都有这个问题，微软指出，反复热插拔几次USB设备就很有可能导致系统崩溃。

在反复插拔USB设备几次后，设备将不会出现在设备管理器中。同时，如果此时尝试关机的话，系统很有可能会出现0x000000FE错误。
